I wasn’t always a designer. Previously, I worked for tech companies as a Chief Marketing Officer (managing a team of 50+).
In 2019, I quit my job, and became a self-taught freelance designer. I spent around 3 years freelancing, mostly designing & building Webflow websites & Shopify online stores. The thing I liked about freelancing was the opportunity to help small businesses.
In 2021 I started working as a Senior Product Designer at Sweatcoin, a mobile app that rewards users for walking. I was in the Growth Team, where my main focus was design with the goal of user acquisition. My marketing background was particularly useful here. During my time there we gained 66M+ new users in a year.
In 2024 I came back to freelancing and founded Kristi Digital — my independent design studio working with startups, content creators, and solopreneurs on mobile apps, websites, newsletters, branding, and product strategy.
I also love teaching and have taught at Dribbble, Growth Design School and Liftyz, and regularly speak at podcasts and events.
I'm originally from Belarus, lived in Poland for five years, and now call Sydney home. I spend as much time as possible in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan — deeply drawn to Asian visual aesthetics and cultural UX.
My next move? Japan. I want to learn Japanese and get even closer to the culture I'm obsessed with.
